OFP: Dragon Rising [Xbox360, PS3, PC]

I was lead weapon artist on this project  mainly working as outsource manager but I also got to make some weapon art-work myself. 

Below is the AK-47 prototype benchmark model for outsource and the AK-103 which was build for DLC

These are 3dsmax screengrabs of the M4 and M16 selections from the game, also close ups of the scopes available. 

I created all these assets and many more when not busy managing the outsourced art-work. All assets textures where recreated with grime maps; we didn't have good enough photo reference for all weapons in the game, so to keep style consistant I decided that we wouldn't use photographs at all for the texturing.

I also got some time to help out the character team with some Zbrush head sculpts. I made this asian head for the PLA forces using a base mesh created by the character team. I rendered it in Mental Ray with Sub-Surface and a 3-point area lighting system (Key, kicker and rim light).

I also created the ordinance art-work for the vehicles and game 'fire-support' function. These are relatively low-res meshes as they get attached to the underside of aircrafts or spawned in at a distance from the player.
